Trayvon Martin vs. George Zimmerman -- A Mural

In August of 2013, Miami artist Ms. Huong, who goes by just the one name, unveiled a painting depicting George Zimmerman shooting Trayvon Martin in the Florida state capitol.

We feel that the painting does not accurately portray the incident and we have presented an alternate version below (sketch only).

Trayvon Martin George Zimmerman

The green outline suggests a bench to be rolled in front of the proposed painting so someone wishing to act out Trayvon's role can do so. The "white" spot in the hooded sweatshirt wearing  figure at the top is a mirror so the person can see him/herself in Trayvon's role. A hole in the bench is suggested so the person can reach down and pretend to smash George's head into the ground.

The portrait at the lower right is of Martin Luther King, Jr. We are not sure of the purpose of including his face but we did so to better include the features of the original painting.
